Hola! You’ve taken the extra step and clicked through to our October 2021 newsletter. This is very much a “label of love” for us, set up to work with Hans Deville on his solo album. Little did we know this would lead us to a bunch of cool artists, and suddenly the label GOT A ROSTER, and what’s more, a couple of SHOWCASE GIGS!

The first is a free entry affair in our hometwown of Hastings. October 30th, with the twisted country of FRANK FROM BLUE VELVET and bringing the “honky tonk noir” we welcome MARK J. LEE & THE SADDLE KINGS. Come along to The Jenny Lind. Kicks off 4.30 pm ‘cos it’s an early finish so folks can catch last trains home.

December 4th sees our London showcase at Hackney’s Paper Vintage Dress. Treading the boards will be DAEMÖNIK FONCE, HANS DEVILLE’S first FULL LIVE BAND SHOW and MARK J. LEE once more with THE SADDLE KINGS. Tickets half gone which we are pretty much blown away by. TICKETS HERE. Good times are coming!!

This month (21st October) we release the debut EP by Hastings’ FRANK FROM BLUE VELVET “Sin Without Redemption”. It’s like Johnny Cash went down a worm hole and landed onstage with a post punk garage band, telling tales of human foolishness and vunerability. We have DAEMÖNIK FONCE’s debut album “EYE LOVE DAEMÖNIK FONCE ” scheduled for release March 2022 and it is a BELTER!! Their first single came out last month, gaining some lovely support from BBC WALES’ Janice Long and Adam Walton describing “Autumnal Fix” as “ABBA meets SUICIDE”… Next single is out November 3rd, more about that next time.

The Will LV remix of HANS DEVILLES “Porbandar” raised a few curious eye brows. Definitely not a typical POTL release but we loved its laid back, dubby clubby vibes. It got spins on Justin Turfords "Travel without Travelling” and Lee Brights “Tangential” shows for Totally Wired Radio plus support from Worldwide FM’s Global Oats and Future Bubblers shows. Go on, give it a listen.. preferably sipping a cocktail on a sun drenched beach cafe.. well, we can dream….
