A ONE OFF PICTURE DISC TO BE RAFFLED AT OUR LABEL PARTY 9TH DECEMBER FEATURING THEE HEAD SHRINKERS & COLUMN 258

Taking the concept of Limited Edition to the total extreme. We’ve made ONE, yes ONE, copy of this picture disc featuring two bands that we know are gonna deliver brilliant albums next year.

It will be raffled at the next POTL label party this Saturday 9th December.

Thee Headshrinkers are down and dirty low fi grimy garage with absolutely no let up.

Column 258 are… a bit psych, a bit Kraut, a bit jazz. Hypnotic soundscapes that really suck you in AND hold you.

None the less, they both sing from the same punk rock hymn book in attitude, we reckon.

WHAT THEE HEADSHRINKERS SAY - “Our track was Written as an ode to the 1972 classic movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It’s a trash-a-billy tune, recorded in the bands home studio on the hop with added sound effects…it’s a low budget recording, like the film.”

WHAT COLUMN 258 SAY - “Driven by the rhythm section of east meets west percussive … free blues guitar, brass and fiddle and incessant middle refrains: “In Bedford it Rains / so long the iron chains” . A song that sprang from seeing a Bedford van parked up in the rain.”

…and there’s me thinking it was about the county.
