POTL have started work with Hastings “Psych Noir” outfit COLUMN 258 on a mini album to be released November 2024.

We first saw the band in their full seven piece splendour one evening last summer, playing a roof top gig above the up + coming “St Andrews Mews” in Hastings town centre. What an unexpected joy it was too. “The ghost of Ian Curtis” vocal delivery floating amidst a mongrel mix of Can and Gong.

An invite was dispatched to play one of our free parties at The Jenny Lind, resulting in a rapturously received performance at the 2023 finale.

The band recorded two tracks for the labels series of “Bendy Disc” limited edition 7”s.. The record will be exclusively available at a special in store at the very cool TOUGH LOVE RECORDS this Saturday June 22nd.

Like much of C258’s repertoire, these songs invite you into the inner thoughts of lost souls and hopeful monsters. BLACK JAGUAR “An outlaw song about joy riding and the search for graves of country ancestors.” flipped with BRIGHT STAIRCASE “a song about return, redemption and transformation in the Santa Cruz mountains.”
